Lisa Mason Ganfield, Founder, OTR/L, CHT, NBCOT, Senior Instructor for John F. Barnes Treatment Centers and Seminars

Lisa has been a licensed Occupational Therapist since 1982 and a Certified Hand Therapist since 1991. She has completed all of the John F. Barnes MFR courses, beginning in 1989. Lisa has repeated the courses multiple times and has been a Senior Instructor for the MFR Seminars and Treatment Centers since 2004. She also leads the Chicago Area MFR Study Group.

In addition to her specialty in Myofascial Release and Hand and Upper Extremity injuries, Lisa has taken and treats using John Upledger, D.O. Cranial Sacral I and II, and all four levels of Visceral Manipulation, as well as Neuromanipulation. She has taken Lymphatic Drainage I, Zero Balancing I, and has advanced dialoging skills with Upledger’s HCT I and II, and is a certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner.

The staff at Ganfield Therapeutics is highly knowledgable in the Barnes MFR method, Upledger Craniosacral, Visceral Manipulation, Lymphatic Drainage, Trager, and Zero Balancing techniques. In conjunction with traditional PT/OT treatment, she feels, “MFR is the missing link to successful outcomes.”


Lindsay Ganfield, Practice Manager

Lindsay graduated from Miami University with a B.S. in Exercise Science and Kinesiology. She joined our team as the Practice Manager in 2019 after previously working in three specialty medical clinics where she directly assisted physicians and clinical staff. Previously, Lindsay assisted at the clinic for over 13 years and is highly knowledgeable of our therapists’ specialties.


Thewann Turner, Senior Administrative Assistant

Thewann came to Ganfield Therapeutics in 2008 and has been an outstanding team member. Thewann has her Associates Degree in Health Care Administration. She is in Monday through Friday to schedule visits and answer any questions regarding our treatments and billing. She is efficient, friendly and knowledgeable.


Maryellen Nardomarino, PT

Maryellen graduated Magna Cum Laude from St. Louis University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1996. She has taken John Barnes MFR I&II, Facial Pelvis and Fascial Cranium and had advanced trainings in Upledger Craniosacral therapies, McKenzie Manual therapies, Mulligan Mobilizations with Movement, Vestibular Rehabilitation, Neural Tissue Tension therapies, and Visceral Mobilization. 


Inna Smirnova, MPT

Inna is a graduate from St. Louis University Masters of Physical Therapy Program with a BS in Exercise Science and has been practicing in various settings for over 20 years. She is passionate about treating her patients as she experienced injuries as a competitive figure skater. Inna began her classes in John Barnes MFR techniques in 2012 and has completed and repeated MFR I&II, Unwinding, Rebounding, Fascial Pelvis, Fascial Cranium, Cervical Thoracic and Myofascial Mobilization.  


Janet Glick, PT, MPT, WCS

Janet graduated from Idaho State University with a Masters of Physical Therapy in 1997.  She worked in various settings, including rehab, inpatient, outpatient and home health, with a focus on geriatrics.  Janet is proficient in Strain-Counterstrain, which she combines with Myofascial Release to provide pain relief and healing to her clients. In 2017, she became a Certified Women’s and Men’s Pelvic Health Specialist. She has completed John Barnes MFR I&II, Unwinding, Advanced Unwinding, Cervical Thoracic, Rebounding, Fascial Pelvis, Fascial Cranium and Skills Enhancement Seminar. 


Jacie Kuchan, PT, DPT, CLT

Jacie graduated from Rosalind Franklin University with a BS degree in Physical Therapy in 1996 and then received her DPT degree in 2004. Before beginning her heath care career, Jacie was a professional ballet dancer with the Milwaukee Ballet and the Pittsburg Ballet Theatre. In 2007, she certified as a Lymphedema Therapist. She is also a Certified Manual Therapist and has completed John Barnes MFR I&II, Unwinding, Fascial Pelvis and Cervical Thoracic. 


Lisa Wheeler, Senior Clinical Therapist, COTA/L

Lisa is an COTA/L and Kinesiotherapist. She has taken and utilizes all 14 of the Barnes MFR courses, including Women’s Health. She has taken and utilizes Manual Lymphatic Drainage I, II, and III. Lisa has completed Chikly Brain I, II and III courses, which assist with the healing and function of deeper brain functions, including concussions, vision issues, spinal cord dysfunction and hormone regulation.


Mika Majewska, OTR/L

Mika graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 2000 in Occupational Therapy. She has worked as a senior Occupational Therapist with the ability to evaluate a variety of diagnoses and supervise others. She includes in her treatments lymphatic drainage, joint mobilization and vestibular rehabilitation. She is proficient in Barnes’ Myofascial Release and has taken several classes including Women’s Health. 


Michael Morgan, LMT, CST-D

Michael Morgan is a leading instructor of John Upledger’s Craniosacral Therapy, CST I and II, and the Longevity Course. He is an expert in the area of immune system function and inflammatory response in the brain and body. Michael has pioneered and coordinated research in the application of Craniosacral Therapy for Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease and has written a book titled Longevity Prescription. Michael sees clients once a month in our Gurnee office. We are fortunate to have Michael on staff with us!
