Classes and Self Treatment
Each of these 50 minute programs are considered important and necessary for aiding you in your optimal myofascial self-treatment. Guidelines for when to have this added to your treatment are provided by our therapists.
Program 1: Home Myofascial Stretch
The Home Myofascial Stretch Program is designed to help you achieve your optimal myofascial release goals. A comprehensive home program of MFR self-stretches, proper positioning and hold times are reviewed. Recommended to be taken between Sessions 1-4.
Program 2: Myofascial Tools
The Myofascial Tools Program is designed to introduce different treatment “tools” to try. Some of the treatment tools used are: foam roller, sacral wedge, still point inducer, small ball, medium ball, physioball, stress buster ball, and Nola Rola. Recommended to be taken between Sessions 4-8.
Program 3: Advanced Myofascial Stretch
The Advanced Myofascial Stretch Program is designed to help you learn to feel what your body is telling you. We will help guide you through an inner journey and help you learn how to “unwind”, which is a highly effective MFR technique with motion. Recommended to be taken between Sessions 8-12.
Program 4: Myofascial Strengthening
The Myofascial Strengthening Program is designed to teach you how to optimally strengthen core stability, upper body, and lower body under safe body weight resistance. Recommended to be taken between Sessions 8-15.
Reiki works in conjunction with the meridian energy lines and chakras through the use of the hand-positions, which normally correspond to the seven major chakras on the body. These hand-positions are used both on the front and back of the body, and can include specific areas. Taught by Lisa Wheeler.
Class 1: For Sleep
Class 2: For Health
The Reiki classes are 1 hr.
